Car Accident Injury Attorneys in Winston-Salem, NC

Car accidents in North Carolina happen suddenly, often catching the safest and most prepared drivers off guard. In the blink of an eye, a routine trip home from work on Bailey Park near Winston-Salem, NC, can turn into a life-changing situation. Before you know it, you’re seriously hurt and wondering how you’ll provide for your family.

Dealing with the aftermath of a car crash is a lot to handle, especially when you’re injured due to no fault of your own. Figuring out who will foot the bill for your medical expenses and monthly bills only adds to the stress. You’re left trying to answer questions like, “What happens next, now that I’m injured?” “Am I going to get fired because I can’t go to work?” “How will I pay for my hospital bills?”

Often, auto accident victims can’t handle their responsibilities when they’re hurt or recovering in Heritage Woods Senior Living in Winston-Salem, NC. Without a personal injury attorney in Winston-Salem, NC, to advocate on their behalf, these same victims give official statements to law enforcement and insurance companies by mistake. As a result, many men and women hurt in car crashes accept very low settlement offers without understanding that they deserve more.

If you or someone you love has been injured in a car wreck due to someone else’s negligence, you're probably wondering if there's a legal way to ease your suffering. At Nagle & Associates, our car accident attorneys in North Carolina can review the facts of your case, engage your insurance company, and help get the ball rolling on your personal injury claim so you can begin to heal and get back to a normal life.

Your Car Accident Injury Attorneys in Winston-Salem, NC: The Nagle & Associates Difference

What makes Nagle & Associates stand out from the crowd? As your personal injury lawyer, we’re passionate about providing the highest level of support when you’re facing some of the most difficult times in your life. We will help solve your problems, and our entire staff truly cares about your financial concerns and your medical recovery. We will work tirelessly to protect and enforce your rights.

Clients recommend our personal injury lawyers to their friends and family members because we provide:

Most law firms in North Carolina accept a wide range of cases. Many handle divorce, tax and business law, criminal defense law, and bankruptcy along with personal injury cases. Firms that “only” handle personal injury law typically handle vehicle injury cases along with slip and fall, premises liability, dog bites, workers compensation and many different types of injury cases.

They don’t focus purely on motor vehicle crash law. Our firm ONLY handles personal injury claims resulting from serious motor vehicle accidents. We are masters of the law in this arena and are prepared to protect your rights, establish fault, identify all at-fault parties, access all available insurance policies/coverage, and secure the maximum tax-free payment on all of your injury claims.

We only handle cases involving genuine injuries resulting from serious accidents. We’re not talking about a fender bender in the parking lot of highest rated Sage Salt in Winston-Salem, NC. Our focus on high-value cases enables us to offer a reduced legal fee for settlements and trial verdicts. Nearly all other personal injury attorneys charge 1/3 of the settlement. If we take on your case, our fee is 1/4 of the settlement. With our more equitable fee, your share of the settlement is 75%, which is significantly more than the 66% portion that most firms allow.

Most personal injury law firms tack on additional expenses to their 1/3 legal fee. Those fees can include expenses such as postage, copy costs, administrative fees, and charges to outside vendors to collect medical bills and records. Our reduced 1/4 fee includes all case administration expenses.

Our attorney fees for cases that involve court proceedings are lower compared to what other personal injury lawyers charge. If the insurance company does not offer you fair payment, we will take legal action against all parties responsible and bring your case to trial. Other personal injury lawyers will take 40-44% of your injury claim money if a lawsuit is necessary. However, our fee for litigation is 1/3, which means that a larger portion of your personal injury compensation stays with you at the conclusion of your case.

Carl Nagle’s extensive experience in both plaintiff and defense roles makes him a truly exceptional personal injury attorney in Winston-Salem, NC. He and his legal team now work only for individuals injured in vehicle accidents in North Carolina. Prior to focusing exclusively on representing crash victims, Carl Nagle spent several years working as an insurance claims adjuster in Atlanta. After graduating with top honors from the University of Georgia School of Law, Carl served as an insurance defense attorney. His firsthand experience in representing at-fault drivers and insurance companies enables him to predict and counter insurance defense tactics, and he knows how to push insurance companies to offer generous settlements in all cases.

We have seven offices spread across North Carolina, so there's likely one very close to you. However, if you’re reluctant to drive on The Quarry at Grant Park near Winston-Salem, NC, or live in a remote area that makes travel inconvenient, we won't charge anything to meet with you at your home. Most things can be sorted out over the phone or by mail. Additionally, most cases are settled and result in payment with no court involvement, and this process can be managed without you having to leave your home. If your case needs to go to trial before a jury, we'll do this in your home county.

What Our Clients Say

Do You Really Need a Car Accident Injury Attorneys in Winston-Salem, NC?

You aren't obligated to hire a lawyer to settle an accident claim. However, having a lawyer represent you in negotiations with the insurance company likely will result in a larger settlement. According to a report by the Insurance Research Council, 85% of the funds disbursed for bodily injury claims went to individuals who had retained legal counsel.

Former adjuster Carl Nagle offers this warning – “Insurance adjusters work only for the insurance company, and their goal is to minimize payment in every case. They are cost-control experts and they have no legal obligation to tell you what they truly owe. Whenever possible, they will deny valid claims and pay people less than they deserve”.

NC crash victims with serious injuries legally have nothing more than a “cause of action”, which means a right to sue the at-fault driver. Insurance companies know that victims who handle their cases without a lawyer present do not intend to sue, and likely also have no idea what their case is worth. Unrepresented victims are offered less than they deserve, and many settle for pennies on the dollar.

If you hire an attorney, you pay nothing up front and your lawyer beings working for you immediately. We handle all insurance company communications, ensuring that a skilled adjuster cannot misquote you or trick you into forfeiting your rights. We handle crash investigations and the task of gathering all of your medical bills, medical records, lost wage evidence and other case proofs. This is homework you will have to handle if you don’t have legal representation. We assemble the case and highlight the medical evidence which adds value to your settlement We then threaten to file a lawsuit on your behalf, and apply legal and financial leverage to push for the highest settlement offer. After settlement, we negotiate discounts on unpaid medical bills and on health insurance claims against your settlement money. All of these efforts protect your rights and result in the highest possible tax-free settlement payment landing in your pocket. And your attorney is paid only if and when we deliver money to you.

You Really Need

Victims of careless commercial drivers who have high-limits insurance policies and victims who suffer more severe injuries are targeted by insurance companies. Sadly, the more extensive your medical expenses and other losses resulting from a car accident, the greater the likelihood that the other motorist’s insurance company will contest your claim. Victims in high-damage cases should always involve an attorney to build and present their personal injury case.

Insurance companies prioritize safeguarding their profits over fair treatment of crash victims. Attempting to navigate negotiations with insurance adjusters and company lawyers on your own puts you at a disadvantage, as insurance companies have vast experience minimizing claim payments and extensive legal teams helping them oppose your case. Hiring personal injury representation is also a wise idea when you’re trying to deal with one or more of the following situations:

At-Fault Drivers

At-Fault Drivers Who Are Underinsured or Uninsured

Some motorists responsible for accidents don’t have liability insurance or have only bought the lowest amount of insurance mandated by law. If you were involved in an accident caused by a driver without adequate insurance, a lawyer can assist in filing a claim with your own insurance coverage to compensate for the difference. We can often identify several policies that can be stacked together to vastly increase the pool of money available to pay your claims.

Severe Injuries

Severe Injuries

Complex injuries can necessitate costly medical treatment and long-term disability assistance. Without the guidance of a seasoned personal injury attorney, you may not be able to afford continuing care and upcoming medical expenses. Also, severe injuries often result in lasting or permanent symptoms and medical needs. Injury lawyers know how to retain VocReha experts and medical experts to develop the evidence which allows us to collect for future lost wages, future medical needs, and future pain and suffering.

Property Damage

Property Damage

A personal injury lawyer can help you recover compensation for the damage caused to your vehicle, and arrange for an independent assessment to determine repair costs. When a client retains us to handle their injury claims, we handle all property damage claims for free. We never charge to help with vehicle repairs, total loss claims or help securing a rental car.

Contributory Fault Rules

Contributory Fault Rules

In North Carolina, we have the “pure contributory negligence” law. In this state, if a crash victim contributes slightly to causing their accident or injuries, they have no right to present ANY claims. If you are just 1% at fault, you get nothing for your car damage or injury claims. Insurance companies always try to place blame on victims injured in car accidents. By hiring a lawyer early, we make sure you never make a statement that kills your case. We also investigate the crash early and gather evidence proving all other drivers’ fault, and proving that you were innocent and could not avoid the collision.

Wrongful Death

Wrongful Death

Losing a family member in a car accident is horrible, but it’s even more tragic when they perish due to someone else’s negligence. Surviving family members have a right to claim wrongful death benefits, but insurance companies will not simply volunteer fair payment. While you grieve the loss of your loved one, your wrongful death attorney can build the strongest case to help you secure justice and cover financial losses related to the death of your family member.

Call a Car Accident Injury Attorneys in Winston-Salem, NC, if You're in One of These Car Accidents

A traffic collision, also referred to as a car accident, happens when a vehicle crashes into another vehicle, pedestrian, animal, road debris, or other obstructions. Vehicle collisions can lead to different levels of vehicle damage, injuries to people inside, and, in some cases, even death. Annual reports from the past few years have indicated a consistent rise in vehicle accidents, injuries, and fatalities in North Carolina. The state recorded over 273,000 car crashes in 2022, leading to in excess of 110,000 injuries.

If you’re in one of the following types of car crashes, you should contact an auto accident lawyer ASAP:

Head-On Collisions

Head-On Collisions

A head-on collision happens when two vehicles’ front ends collide. This type of accident often results in very serious injuries and, sometimes, fatalities.

Rear-End Collisions

Rear-End Collisions

A rear-end collision happens when the front of one automobile crashes into the back of another vehicle. This type of collision happens most often when a driver fails to pay attention or is tailgating another driver.

Sideswipe Accidents

Sideswipe Accidents

When two vehicles are moving parallel to one another and make contact – usually due to an improper lane change – a sideswipe collision happens.

T-Bone Collision

T-Bone Collision

In a side-impact collision, one automobile crashes into the side of another, creating a “T” shape. These car wrecks are known to happen at intersections and typically produce serious injuries.

Multi-Car Pileup

Multi-Car Pileup

These auto wrecks are also known as chain reaction collisions and happen when three or more automobiles collide in a series of collisions. Multi-car pileups are known to happen in dense traffic and on large roadways like The Quarry at Grant Park near Winston-Salem, NC.

Rollovers

Rollovers

When a vehicle turns over on its side or on its roof, a rollover accident occurs, which can have catastrophic consequences for the driver and also for other motorists.

Regardless of the type of car accident you’re involved in, you should know that North Carolina adheres to a fault-based system for wrecks. That means the driver found responsible for causing the wreck is usually accountable for the resulting damages. However, it’s important to note that North Carolina also follows the pure contributory negligence rule. This means that if a plaintiff is found even partially at fault for the accident, they might be unable to collect payment for their property damage and injury claims.

While insurance companies should provide a lump sum to cover all accident-related expenses, in many cases, the amount they are willing to offer is typically unfair and insufficient without help from an experienced auto accident lawyer like Carl Nagle.

Follow These Steps After an Auto Accident in North Carolina

Whether you’re driving near the WinstonSalem State University near Winston-Salem, NC or taking a short ride to the store, a car crash can happen in a split second. When it does, it can leave you confused and disoriented. However, taking quick action after an accident can help preserve your rights if you’re injured. Keep these steps in mind if you’re ever involved in a car wreck in North Carolina:

  • Swap insurance info with other drivers involved in the accident.
  • Get treated by a doctor to diagnose injuries caused by the auto accident.
  • If you’re given a treatment plan by your doctor, be sure to follow the recovery instructions.
  • If you undergo treatment or rehab for your injuries, use your health insurance to fund all medical care. This protects your credit and will increase case value.
  • Get a copy of the police report for your auto accident.
  • Save any invoices, bills, and receipts relating to medical costs you have to pay to treat yourself or to repair property damage.
  • If you’re injured in a car accident and have to take time off of work, have a doctor provide a work disability note to show that you are missing work for medical reasons. Also, try to get copies of your pay stubs that reflect your pay prior to your accident.
  • Reach out to a personal injury lawyer as soon as you’re able to do so. Even if you chose not to hire a lawyer, a consultation with a personal injury lawyer is free and can typically be accomplished with a phone call. Learn your rights before you start cooperating with the insurance adjuster who is being paid to oppose your claims.
Follow These Steps

If someone's actions or lack of action caused you harm while driving, you may have a valid personal injury claim. There are many types of physical and emotional injuries that fall into different categories. At Nagle & Associates, P.A., we’ll work with you one-on-one to gather evidence that can prove your case and help you receive the compensation you deserve. Whether you were in a collision involving a drunk driver, hit while walking to work, or sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident, our goal is to help you collect the full amount of compensation that the law allows.

Pablo Carreno Busta vs Alex Michelsen – Friday 23 August 2024 – Winston-salem Open – Wake Forest Tennis Complex, Winston-Salem, NC, U.S.A.

Head To Head First Meeting.

In what promises to be a thrilling clash on the tennis court, World No. 299 Pablo Carreno Busta from Spain is set to square off against the 11th-ranked American, Alex Michelsen, in their first-ever meeting. Carreno Busta, aged 33, boasts an impressive career, having won seven singles and four doubles titles. He reached his highest ranking of No. 10 in singles and No. 16 in doubles during the 2017 season.

One of Carreno Busta’s standout achievements was capturing the 2022 Montreal championship, making him the 15th different Spaniard to win an ATP Masters 1000 title since the series’ inception in 1990. Additionally, he displayed his prowess by defeating the No. 1 and No. 2 players, Djokovic and Medvedev respectively, en route to clinching the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which took place in 2021.

The Spaniard has also enjoyed success at Grand Slam events, reaching the semifinals of the US Open and quarterfinals of Roland Garros in both 2017 and 2020. He even made it to the 2016 US Open doubles final alongside his compatriot, Garcia-Lopez. Carreno Busta’s contributions to the Spanish team have not gone unnoticed, as he was part of the 2019 Davis Cup championship squad and helped Team Spain reach the ATP Cup finals in 2020 and 2022.

Notably, Carreno Busta is aiming for his 13th ATP Tour final and first since winning the 2022 ATP Masters 1000 Montreal title by defeating Hurkacz. He has a strong track record at the Winston-Salem Open, having reached the semifinals for the third time. Impressively, he holds the tournament record for the most match wins, with 19 victories. Carreno Busta is determined to follow in the footsteps of the lowest-ranked ATP Tour finalist since No. 335 Juan Manuel Cerundolo at the 2021 Cordoba Open.

On the other side of the net, we have the rising star, 19-year-old Alex Michelsen from the United States. Currently ranked at a career-high of No. 52, Michelsen has been making waves with his exceptional talent. He recently reached the final of the Newport tournament, narrowly missing out on the title with just one match point against Giron. This achievement made him the youngest American man in the Top 200 of the PIF ATP Rankings.

Michelsen has been turning heads with his performances in Grand Slam events as well, becoming the youngest American man to reach the third round since Donald Young at the 2007 US Open. His breakthrough came at the 2024 Australian Open, where he reached the third round.

In 2023, Michelsen secured his first ATP Tour win and went on to reach the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final of the Newport tournament. This remarkable run made him the youngest American ATP Tour finalist since Taylor Fritz in 2016. The young American also has a notable victory over World No. 9 Alex de Minaur in the second round of the 2024 Los Cabos tournament. However, despite holding three match points in the quarterfinals against eventual champion Thompson, Michelsen couldn’t seal the victory.

Michelsen has proven his mettle on the Challenger circuit as well, with a record of 35 wins and 18 losses. He won titles in Chicago and Knoxville in 2023, displaying his ability to perform under pressure. In the juniors, he reached a career-high ranking of No. 25 and won the Wimbledon boys’ doubles title in 2022 alongside his partner Gorzny.

It’s fascinating to note that Michelsen began his tennis journey at the tender age of 3, hitting balls with his mother, who was a former college player. This early start and dedication helped shape his skills until the age of 15.

As Michelsen approaches his 20th birthday, he is eager to add another ATP Tour final to his resume after his previous appearances in Newport. A win in this tournament would make him the youngest finalist in its history and the first American finalist since Steve Johnson in 2018. Currently ranked at No. 51 on the PIF ATP Live Rankings, Michelsen has the opportunity to make his Top 50 debut at No. 49 with a victory in the semifinals.

Tennis enthusiasts can’t help but be captivated by the prospect of these two players facing off for the first time. Will the experienced Carreno Busta’s array of titles and past successes prove too much for the young and talented Michelsen? Or will Michelsen continue to make headlines with his remarkable rise through the rankings? Only time will tell as these two competitors battle it out on the prestigious courts of the Winston-Salem Open.

I believe Pablo Carreno Busta will win in straight sets. The Stevegtennis.com prediction algorithm has a much better success rate in picking match winners than me!

So check out who it picks for this match here: Stevegtennis.com Pablo Carreno Busta vs Alex Michelsen prediction.

A Walkertown man charged with intentionally placing a child in a scalding hot bath made his first court appearance Friday.

James Huff was arrested by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, just over a month after the incident occurred.

Forsyth County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 6000 block of Cain Forest Drive around 11:45 p.m. on July 21.

Police say when they arrived, they were told a child had accidentally poured a pot of water that was boiling on themselves.

Keep up with the latest news and weather by downloading the WXII app here.

However, an investigation led them to determine Huff intentionally placed the child in a bathtub of scalding hot water.

Huff was charged with one count of felony intentional child abuse inflicting serious injury. He received a secured bond of $300,000.

In a press release on Thursday, Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough said, "Any threat or harm to our children becomes a priority to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Today, we arrested Wilford Huff and charged him with Intentional Child Abuse Inflicting Serious Injury. As we have stated, our most precious asset is our children, who are our future, and the FCSO will do everything earthly possible to serve and protect them."

Huff appeared virtually before a Forsyth County judge on Friday for his first appearance. He was given a court-appointed attorney and told the maximum sentence of 484 months, or more than 40 years, in prison.

In the courtroom for the appearance was Huff’s girlfriend, mother and other family members. His girlfriend, Brittany Lewis, told the judge the incident was a “terrible accident.”

Lewis spoke with WXII 12 News after the first appearance. She says she and Huff have been dating for over a year and share a child.

She says she does not believe that Huff would intentionally hurt her son.

“He wouldn’t do that,” she said. “I know he wouldn’t.”

She says she was not home when the incident occurred. She says Huff was boiling a pot of the household cleaner Fabuloso on the stove to make their home smell better when he heard their baby crying.

“He walked to the back of the room to give our baby his pacifier, and my four-year-old at the time was in the living room playing,” she said.

She says while Huff was attending to the baby, the accident occurred.

“The water spilled on him and burned half his body.”

Lewis describes Huff as being a good caretaker of her children.

“Over a year, he’s been around him. He’s always looked at him like his own son,” she said. “And he’s never done anything that would make me think different, that he didn’t love him.”

Lewis says she plans to stick by Huff as the legal process continues. In the meantime, her son remains in the hospital, still recovering slowly from his injuries.

Lewis says he has been fighting illness and other medical issues stemming from the severe burns. She says he has been doing better in recent days.

“It's been a back-and-forth battle with the burns. It came with a lot of extra issues,” she said.

Huff is due back in court on Sept. 13.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Winston-Salem State University head coach Robert Massey has elevated Markus McElveen to Associate Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator.

"McElveen has proven time and time again that he is a good coach," said head coach Robert Massey. "He understands the off-the-field work and is the glue that keeps us all together and keeps the guys going. "His passion and hard work for this program and his players is how we will continue to Protect the Legacy and drive this team to a championship. "He has a great future ahead of him."

McElveen joined the Rams during the 2021 season as the Defensive Line Coach. During the summer of 2022, Massey promoted McElveen to Defensive Coordinator/Co-Recruiting Coordinator.

"It's truly an honor," said McElveen. "Coach Massey has taught me so much over these last 17 years. One of the lessons that I continue to hold close is if you work for a man, you give that man an honest day's work, and that is what I make sure I do every day I wake up."

With the Rams during McElveen's first season as the Defensive Coordinator, the Rams' defense was ranked nationally and recognized by the AFCA. They finished the season # 10 in total defense, #1 in first down defense, and #4 in red zone defense in the nation (All of D2). They also finished #1 in total defense, #1 in first down defense, #1 in red zone, #2 in rushing defense, and #5 in passing defense in the CIAA.

Under his tutelage, Defensive back Justin Flemming and defensive lineman Camar Kyle were named to CIAA All-Conference teams.

Before joining the Rams, McElveen made his return to the collegiate coaching ranks after a strong career at the high school level. For the past two years, McElveen spent time as the defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Bunnell High School in Stratford, Connecticut. Before joining Bunnell staff, McElveen spent two seasons as defensive coordinator at his alma mater Norwalk High School. He got his coaching career started at another alma mater of his own as he served as an assistant coach at Shaw University. After starting out as a student assistant, McElveen earned a spot as the Defensive line coach a year later.

As a standout student-athlete at Shaw University, he was a four-year starter and was a member of back-to-back Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) championship teams in 2007 and 2008 with another championship in 2010. Along with being recognized as an Academic All-American, he also earned Lindsy All-American and All-CIAA honors multiple times for his play on the field during his career.

He graduated in 2011 from Shaw University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Management & Psychology.

He attributes much of his success to his support circle, which consists of his Father (Mark McElveen), Mother (Lisa Russell), and coaches Richard McGeorge and Darrell Asberry who still mentor him well after his playing days.

His breakthrough came at the ATP Masters 1000 Paris, where he reached the quarterfinals as a qualifier. This remarkable achievement propelled him to a career-high ranking of 58 in July 2022. Gaston continued to impress by making it to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and even the final at the 2021 Gstaad tournament. He also participated in the Next Gen ATP Finals, rounding off a memorable season.

One of Gaston’s most notable performances came at the 2020 Roland Garros, where he became the first Frenchman since 1971 to reach the fourth round in his tournament debut. Notably, he defeated the 2015 champion Stan Wawrinka in a thrilling five-set encounter before ultimately falling to two-time finalist Dominic Thiem.

Gaston’s tenacity and resilience have been on full display throughout his career. As a wildcard ranked 239th, he became the lowest-ranked player to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam since 2004. His achievements were reminiscent of No. 248 Guillermo Canas at the 2004 Australian Open and No. 283 Arnaud Di Pasquale at Roland Garros in 2002.

In addition to his impressive singles career, Gaston has also proven himself on the junior circuit. He ended 2018 as the world No. 2 junior player after winning the gold medal in boys’ singles and bronze medals in boys’ doubles and mixed doubles at the Youth Olympics.

Looking ahead to this match, Gaston finds himself in pursuit of his first ATP Tour win on hard courts since his victory over Denis Shapovalov in the first round in Marseille earlier this year. He has his sights set on recording 10 tour-level wins in a season for the second time in his career, having achieved this feat in 2022. Additionally, Gaston is seeded at an ATP Tour event for only the second time in his career, having been the No. 7 seed at the 2022 Gstaad tournament.

On the other side of the net, Christopher Eubanks, 28 years old and currently ranked 120th in the world, brings his own set of accomplishments to the table. Eubanks experienced a breakthrough year in 2023, earning a personal-best 21 wins and making his Top 100 debut at the age of 26. He reached a career-high ranking of 29 after an impressive run to the Wimbledon quarterfinals, where he notably defeated world No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas in the fourth round.

Eubanks gained entry into the Top 100 by reaching his first ATP Masters 1000 quarterfinals as a qualifier at the 2023 Miami Open in March. He continued his upward trajectory by securing his first ATP Tour title at the 2023 Mallorca tournament, defeating Adrian Mannarino in the final. Additionally, Eubanks had his fair share of success on home soil, dispatching fellow Americans Taylor Fritz and Jared Donaldson en route to the quarterfinals of the 2017 Atlanta Open as a wildcard.

Not one to shy away from the big stage, Eubanks claimed his first Grand Slam main draw win at the 2022 US Open, where he defeated Pedro Martinez. He had previously made waves by overcoming then-No. 106 Felix Auger-Aliassime in the qualifying rounds of the 2019 Australian Open.

Before embarking on his professional career, Eubanks honed his skills at Georgia Tech, where he played college tennis from 2015 to 2017. He distinguished himself as a two-time All-American and two-time ACC Player of the Year, laying the foundation for his future success in the sport.

Eubanks enters this match with confidence, having saved two match points to secure a hard-fought victory over Daniel Walton in the first round. This marked his first tour-level win of the season after losing the first set, a feat he aims to replicate as he seeks to win multiple matches at an ATP Tour event on hard courts for the first time since his quarterfinal run at the 2023 Atlanta Open.

With their contrasting styles of play and impressive achievements throughout their careers, Gaston and Eubanks are set to engage in a captivating battle on the tennis court. Both players have displayed their resilience and determination, leaving spectators eager to witness who will emerge triumphant in their first-ever meeting at the tour level.
